Sokkel

I made this work in order to commemorate Bareld Klamer, the last warden of the islands of Rottum. Klamer spent his whole life working for local forest and environmental preservation. Because he didn't t like to get sand in his shoes, he always went outside with only socks on his feet. He even received the minister like that. In between all the news article I read in the paper, this one was refreshing to me and I wanted to commemorate this man and the way he lived.
